Thank you Brian. So, no license if it is my own properties. Sounds good. But, would I still be able to form a prop management LLC to manage my own property?? I want to keep things as formal as possible between myself and tenants. Thanks again.

Hi Everyone,

I reside in Florida. I plan on renting out my home and, in the future, possibly obtain more rental properties to manage. My question is regarding having a real estate license and property management.

In order to own a property management company, does one have to have an Active RE license? Or, will an Incative RE license suffice? Thank you in advance.
