thanks for the info here Taylor. It’s certainly a process trying to figure it all out

Hey, I am a new realtor as well and had the same questions. I did a lot of research and ended up with Keller Williams.  I dont have any baseline of how other companies are, but KW has been amazing so far.  The group i am with does not provide leads, however the training is outstanding.  If you want to learn and grow your business, i think KW is a great choice.  Through my research the other highly recommended Real Estate brokerages were Remax and Exp realty.  They all have their advantages and disadvantages, its really up to you to research and then decide which one works best for you.

Hey y’all,

Some I’ve finally taken the big steps. Signed up for Pro to analyze more deals quickly and officially started my realtor classes this week. This question I have for the group is this:

Does anyone have any advice regarding the best approach to signing up with a brokerage? I’m very lost when it comes to finding investor friendly brokerages to join. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Mike

@Kendrick Done. New investor here in the Dallas area. I’ve been house hacking for the last 2 years and looking to network with investors of all types of properties to help find my niche.

@Nick Peters thank you for this detailed response! I’ve already gotten through a number of books, podcasts, YouTube videos etc. now I’ve really just got to start networking and getting to know some of the more intimate details of the business. Hopefully I can find a mentor or a small group or experienced investors here in the area

Good morning BP community! I’ve been researching and studying the BP community for 2.5 years now. I’m currently house hacking with a short term bungalow on my main property. My wife and I have finally finished our main property and are looking to dive fully into our investment and real estate journey.

Ideally I would love to connect with some investors, and BP community members that live in the Dallas-ft worth metroplex. I’m also looking into starting the process to get a real estate license and would like to discuss some of the pain points, general insights, and just some overall advice for that process.

Thank you in advance for your time and can’t wait to connect.

Special shout-out to Scott and Mindy as I’m an avid listener to the BP finance show and wouldn’t be in this position without it

Cheers,

Mike
