Post: Finding a niche

I would like to get into RE Investing but having trouble determining a niche. I get the benefits of residential, but backing a 4plex with a personal guarantee scares me. I also get the benefits of large apartments where I can do a value add and really increase the value. Is there a post or comprehensive resource evaluating all the niches? thanks for your help

Hi everyone, I have been a fractional CMO for a LONG TIME now and am starting a new chapter as a real estate investor (multifamily). I am located in CA but grew up in TX, and feel that TX has better investment opportunities. 

  • My goal with BiggerPockets is to network with others and learn enough to buy at least 4 properties in 2024.
