Hello to my BiggerPocket's family of fellow investors.

My name is Michael Greene and I am relocating to OH to pursue RE investing as a full time endeavor. I already own several successful Buy/Hold investments in the Cleveland area and am very passionate and excited (and a little scared;) about my big move. I have a small team that I need to expand and I have already begun doing some serious networking and would love to hear from fellow BP colleagues working in any related capacity in that area as well as others.

I am forming a "C" corp for this purpose which is pretty complex but I am confident it is the right move for me for several reasons. My previous investment were all held in LLC's but the C corp solution will offer me several financial options as I move forward with my strategy.

I still have my FT job for the near term while I set everything up.

Looking forward to communication with like minded members with suggestions, strategies and of course, any way we could help each other.

Thanks for taking the time to get to know me!

Mike

There are a lot of investors in CLeveland market that would love to get you rented with a lease option. I have one of my investment houses under a lease option and it's a Win-Win in my opinion.
My scenario:
$2000 payment up front for lease option to purchase a todays FMV for up to 2 years. I sweetened a bit by adding a return of $50/month of the rent applied toward the purchase if it takes place within the 2 years.
The caveat is if you do not exercise the option it expired and you forfeit the $2000.
