The next REAPS Kitsap Meals N Deals investor meetup is Thursday Feb 2 at the Kitsap Conference Center in Bremerton. Doors open at 6pm for networking, there will be great food, drinks and networking opportunities, and it will be a great chance to check out our investor group. We'd love to have you there. Hi @Jacob Cast, welcome to BP and congrats on starting your new adventure in real estate investing. I'm a full-time investor in Bremerton and I also host the REAPS Kitsap investor meetings. We meet the 1st Thursday of each month at the Kitsap Conference Center next to the ferry terminal in Bremerton. Would love to have you and your wife attend the next one in February. REAPS Kitsap Investor Networking Meetup - Thursday, Dec 1st - Starting 6pm

Join us for the final REAPS Kitsap investor meeting of 2016 with a fun and educational night of investor networking. Here’s your opportunity to enjoy a great buffet dinner, drinks and get to know your local REAPS members and guests. We’ll have some brief guided networking topics to include wholesaling, rehabbing, private money and landlording. Bob Malecki is a professional real estate investor located in Kingston Washington, 30 miles northwest of Seattle. Since 2006, Bob has been involved with the acquisition and management of both single and family properties in key markets in the U.S. Bob specializes in the repositioning of distressed mortgage debt for both equity and cash flow has been involved with the acquisition and management of both distressed debt and single family rental properties in key markets in the U.S. Through his various operating LLCs, Bob has raised over $11M to build a substantial portfolio of residential notes & rental properties in North Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas and the Seattle metro area.

He has fund management experience via the creation and management of a prior private equity fund, REI Capital LLC, which invests in distressed real estate assets in western Washington state. As founding member of Resolution Capital Management LLC he works with investors who are looking for a good return on their idle funds or someone who may want the benefits of real estate investing and risk diversity without the time or means to directly manage a property investment.

In addition to his real estate background, Bob has a B.F. A. in from Ohio University and has been involved with commercial advertising and marketing since 1980. Bob has owned and operated Interactive Villages LLC, an online application integration and development consulting firm, since 1998.

Fred Rea - Founder/Manager of Rain City Capital

Between November 2003 though March 2006, Fred assisted in the closing of conventional investor loans as an employee of Cobalt Mortgage, the largest privately held mortgage banker in the state of Washington. In April 2006, he was retained by the owners of Cobalt Mortgage to start, manage, and originate hard money loans for Stone Capital Funding, LLC. From April 2006 through September 2008, Stone Capital closed a large number of distressed real estate purchases with Fred as its only loan originator. Fred also managed the operations, auction process, as well as the portfolio to ensure all loans paid off at date of maturity. Fred was born and raised in the Seattle area and is a diehard Seahawks fan. He lives in Bothell with his wife and two children.
