We're having our kitchen remodeled. After the contract completed the plumbing and electrical he said he got an inspection and we passed. But I've yet to see any proof of this. How can I make sure he really did have the work inspected?

I'm looking at a multi-family in not the best neighborhood, BUT it's directly across the street from a police station. Would this make you feel better about buying it?

Good thoughts, but not sure how a different realtor would get in since the seller already has a realtor.

The property I'm looking at is in upstate NY. The pictures on line are dark and blurry. Any advice how to get reliable eyes on the property and report back?

I was listening to a BiggerPockets pod cast a while back and heard mention of a service that will go look and check out a property for you if you live in another state. Does anyone know the name of such a service?
