Thanks all - I think part of the issue is that I was targeting a few smaller banks that I thought would be good to setup relationships for commercial lending in the future. From speaking with them, the main issue on the series LLC structure is that it is relatively new in MO and they have not worked with them yet (I am guessing it is partially to do with how multiple series fall under the same EIN).

Hi everyone,

I am an out of state investor in the Kansas City area (Missouri side). I am using a Series LLC structure and am having some trouble finding a KC bank that I can use to open a business checking account (and possibly as a commercial lender at some point in the future). I have approached a couple and the Series LLC structure seems to be turning them off. Does anyone have a recommendation for a KC bank?

Thank you!
