How would you guys use 20k to invest RE in? (SoCal, where houses near me are all at least 650k+ )

How do you experienced and successful investor determine a good buy?

Do you guys buy houses only that require fixing or you guys buy newly build houses without any problems?

@Andre' Arceneaux' I was actually looking around Corona as well! What do you think about rowland heights, diamond bar, walnut, and etc? The houses in those area are pretty pricey.

@Shaun Weekes I was actually looking at Ontario since the houses are a little cheaper in my area (West covina/ Walnut). Do you currently have any properties yourself out in Ontario?
