the market here is hot and it makes my offer competitive to waive loan contingencies. i was told the lender is looking at great condition so i was worried if i should place loan contingencies on a property in such condition... i'm new so just to post it here to see pro's opinions...

Hey BP community,

I'm looking to buy a condo in east bay area and will finance it through a conventional loan. I found a property that is not a fixer up but condition is not great. e.g. range is missing, the wall is dirty and carpet is torn. I wonder if it's still something I should consider?

thanks,

Hello, I'm thinking about starting REI in bay area. I have a primary home in bay area and like to finance a new home. I wonder should I apply loan as secondary home or investment property?
