Thanks, team. I think the rational thing would be to branch out from NY, and head to CT. The taxes would be lower but I feel like I'd need at least a triplex to actually cash flow (with me in one of the units) because rents aren't as high as in NY, which also lowers the amount of available inventory. Let me do some more digging and I'll reach out with any questions

Hi BP, I've saved $60K for a down payment for a duplex/triplex, that I'd live in. I'm looking at properties in my current location of Westchester, NY however the high prices and property taxes are a turnoff (should they be?). 

I'm not ruling out Connecticut but how do I go about choosing the markets to look at? Danbury and Norwalk are on my list but the prospects are limited. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks in advance!
