Post: Seeking Lender Referral (conventional financing)

Hi, I'm looking to do a cash out refi on an investment property I own in Indianapolis. I'm looking for conventional financing. At this point, I'm comparing rates and would like to apply for a loan within the next month.

Indy BP community, would you mind sharing lender recommendations? Please message me directly if you wouldn't mind. Thanks for your help.

I hate to be too picky, but I'd love recommendations from:

- Folks who have done at least one cash out refi on an investment property you own in Indianapolis

- Compared rates across multiple lenders

Thanks again.

Thanks @James E. and @Scott Trench. Glad Nashville was on the money! I have no plans to refresh this since I picked a market and it takes a little while to update, but I'm happy to help if others would like to put together a refresh.

Good luck either way!

Hi @Chatree C. I also live in the Bay Area and am looking for my first property in Indy. I was born and raised in Indy and am visiting right now and have been looking the past week. 46201 is super pocketed. I don't think you can put a letter on the entire zip code. I haven't looked on that specific  block either.

As another new investor, I wouldn't touch it without seeing the property and being super rigorous with my due diligence. It will probably look better in your spreadsheet than it will be in practice.

Around 465, tenant quality and surprises will be less likely. They're a safer bet from out of state.

PM me if you'd like to chat.

I'd like to join the dozens before me who have asked for property management recommendations in Indianapolis. To all you Indy investors, I'd appreciate it if you'd PM with your recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Please only send recommendations if you currently own SFH rentals or MFH rentals (less than 4 units) in the Indianapolis area.

And thanks to those of you who I've already spoken with!

Thanks @Christian Ritter. DM sent.

I'm looking at SFH and MFH, although I may narrow it down once I start dig in further. For MFH, it would be on the smaller side (probably no more than 4 unites).

I had been planning on not going the turnkey route because I've heard about many more bad experiences than good ones with turnkey. I'm definitely open to learning more though. Thanks!

Hi folks,

I'm looking for my first property (buy and hold rental) in Indianapolis. I was born and raised in Carmel, graduated from Brebeuf, and currently live in San Francisco.

I'd love to connect with investors from Indy to learn more about neighborhoods, the market, and which partners you prefer to work with (e.g., PM, lenders, wholesalers).

Thanks to all of the more experienced folks who post. I've been lurking on BP for the past couple months, and it's been an incredible tool for learning because of you!

Hi BP,

I'm a new investor from San Francisco looking to invest in Indianapolis. I was born and raised right outside of Indy in Carmel. I'm currently looking for my first property (buy and hold rental). Long term, I'd like to use buy and hold rentals to build up passive income.
