Hi everyone! My name is Michelle, I'm 27 years old, and I'm a beginner investor living in Los Angeles. I'm a former investment banker currently working in entertainment finance, but have just become seriously interested in real estate within the past two months (seriously, BRAND NEW haha) for a number of reasons.  I'm currently renting and looking to buy in my area, and am also interested in buy and hold rentals (smaller multi-family, and eventually apartments).  For the latter, I'm also looking at other cities/states due to the high price points in southern California. 

I'm currently reading all of the top-recommended books on this site and listening to the awesome podcasts, but am of course looking to put this knowledge into practice within the year. Finding this forum and its wonderful members such as yourselves gives me confidence that I can be smart about my investments. I'm looking forward to connecting with (and eventually helping out!) as many of you as possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out and connect! - Michelle
