Hello, hello, hellooo! My name is Michelle and I am a 22-year-old located in South Florida. I recently decided to dive into real estate investing after listening to podcasts and being advised by several strangers that the real estate market is the way to go! I am a homeowner's insurance agent planning to establish their own agency by 2023. While I am a freshman in the industry, my goal is to start my portfolio by next year. Please feel free to reach out or comment!

I look forward to connecting with other investors and hope to work alongside you in the future.

Post: Undecided - Property Foreclosure/Shortsale

Hi everyone,

I recently saw a distressed property on my way to work. I decided I was going to pursue it and do my research before contacting the owners. However, I saw that it could have undergone a shortsale according to the Certificate of Title. The property was sold back in 2010 to a company and two other petitioners.

Moreover, I found an appeal document dated Oct. 2021 in which the company (buyer) is trying to appeal from a decision that awarded prejudgement interest in favor of the intial owner. While I am a little scared due to the legal verbiage, I want to know if this property is worth pursuing and why? If not, please provide a small explanation so that I, and others who may come across the same issue, understand what to look out for.

Thank you! :)
