I am new to real estate investing. After reading one of Brandon Turners books, I would like to invest into a house hack for my first deal. If you have done this, how has your experience been from where your first house hack was done.

Quote from @Gloria N Gear:

I am always up for coffee!!!  There are so many great local coffee shops in Indy to try, that is just a bonus.  As far as meetups, CIREIA is a great group - I am going to another investor meetup next Wednesday that I will PM you details.  You will find that there is a good network of investors in Indy that are willing to help out.

 I will PM you.

I appreciate that. I will start to connect.

The best thing you can do is join a local real estate investing club. There are at least two I found on a quick google search including Central Indiana Real Estate Investors Association (CIREIA) and INDIANA REAL ESTATE INVESTORS ASSOCIATION. Join one and start volunteering - it’s the best way to network and meet like minded people.

@Jaycee Greene I'm looking to do it with a duplex. I don't have any area or neighborhood in mind.
