@Michael Veit I would love to help answer this question, but you need to provide a lot more information. For starters:

1. How much do you owe on the home, and what do you think you could sell it for?

2. how much is your monthly Principal, interest, taxes, and insurance (PITI)?

3. How much do you think you could rent the home for?

4. Do you have any desire/intention of living in that home, and/or city again?

1. 146,000 is what I owe. It was originally listed at 180,000 and I believe appraised at 170,000

2. my Monthly payment is 1,250

3. I have a 3 Bed 2 Bath with a big back yard. I think I could do $1,500 a month, plus I have a mother in-law complex on the property as well which I rent out for $750 a month (also has separate utilities so i do not have to worry about that too much)

4. I have zero intention of ever coming back here after I leave.

I am military, about to PCS and I own a house.. I need to know wether I should sell the house, or if I would be better off finding a property manager.
