@Adam Schneider Thank you for the invite. I will take a look at your calendar and get up there to attend an event and meet everyone. I want to help the community I am involved in. Is there anything I should be knowledgeable on specifically?

@Bill Gulley It is a small world. I have family in Springfield, MO and the surrounding areas. I have seen people caution about the "Guru Way" and the influence but I am honestly not finding resources to learn from. Can you recommend a book?

I just want to take the right steps. No one wants to waste time or effort. Thanks guys.

Zane McLaughlin it's great to see you participating on the forums. I am in the Fayetteville area and getting into the industry as well. I am reading as much as possible to have the knowledge and references before making a jump into my first deal. With that said. I know how it feels to be out of the area and need some eyes and ears on the ground. If you need anything let me know and I would be glad to assist you.

@Adam Schneider I plan on approaching buyers or investors and asking about the types of properties they are interested in and then going out and finding them. I have read multiple articles about this and really have no other contacts in the business yet as I am extremely new in this arena. So the only I idea I do consistently hear is get out there and ask. So I shall.

One of the issues I have is knowing where and "good idea" ends and reality begins when it comes to some of the things I have read. I am trying to be logical in the process of this type of business so as to ensure I take the right path and don't run around in circles.

I would be more than willing to offer my help with anything I can to you for the opportunity to see you do some business and learn from you.

Adam Schneider I do not plan to market or advertise properties as a wholesaler. I would be facilitating written contracts between a buyer and a seller using a title company. The process of wholesaling seems fairly straight forward but my understanding of it is probably elementary at this point. I am reading everything that I can get my hands on regarding the basics of this side of the business. Does anyone recommend the wholesale process be performed simultaneously to facilitate a proper work flow? One of my concerns is that I am not disclosing my actions to the proper authorities and I am held liable for something because of a legal term on a written contract. I think I probably need to consult with a local real estate attorney. Do you have any recommendations?

I am new to the industry and want to ask if anyone can point out the legal side of wholesaling in North Carolina please? I don't want to break the law and get in a lot of trouble especially since just starting out. Thank you for any information.

I am extremely excited for the new view on real estate that is presented by this great community. I want to devour all of this information before I start asking newbie questions. So Dave and Kevin thank you so much for your feedback on my introduction.

Stephen, I am located about two hours to the west of you in the Pinehurst/Fayetteville/Fort bragg area. I am new to wholesaling and looking to network also. Have you had the chance to read any good material and if so what?

Hello current members. I am a new member from Southern Pines,North Carolina that is learning to wholesale as my first major push into real estate investing. I currently have a rental property in Killeen, Tx that is managed by a separate company.  I am reading and learning as much as I can to make quality deals and build my name as a professional. Thank you for reading my intro and I look forward to becoming an active member in this community.
