Thanks for the tips guys, guess I'll have to ask a friend for those fresh comps.  Maybe later this year I'll get my realtor's license.

Hello all, I'm new to BP and real estate investing so I'm here to introduce myself! I'm a USMC vet of 9 years and currently have a GC company in Houston, TX. My company focuses primarily on roofing in the storm damage reclamation industry (fighting with insurance companies occupies most of my time actually) but we do whole home restoration and water mitigation so I've got the capabilities or the subs to take care of almost anything. Now that I've saved up some money and stabilized some things in my life I'm ready to really start to grow! I plan on doing 2-4 flips in 2022 and 6-8 flips in 2023 where I also plan to BRRRR at least 2 SFH and one multi-family. I'll probably start going to networking events and look forward to learning new things and possibly working with others in my area to tackle bigger opportunities in the future.

I'm new to a lot of the real estate world and I'm trying to run numbers on potential flips but I'm running into trouble running comps. A friend of mine is a realtor for a real estate wholesale company and has been sending me new properties they get contracts on in the greater Houston area. I've been running numbers on all of the costs including rehab but I'm not getting very far with pulling comps to verify potential ARV. I'm using Redfin and don't have agent access to the MLS, but I'm not wanting to dive in completely with my friend's company without verifying the comps they provide. Just looking for some tips so that I can be sure to do my due diligence and protect myself. I know hard money lenders aren't going to fund a flip if I can't show it being profitable so I want to be very thorough.

Hello all, I'm a fairly new investor with some experience in the SoCal market while I was stationed near San Diego and am currently breaking out into the Houston area market. I am working with a few investors I have met in local groups ranging from Pasadena and Bay Town south to Texas City and Santa Fe. I have also been working with the Renatus group for my investment education and partnership opportunities but most of the Texas investors in that group are in Austin. I have actually just placed a bunch of signs out in the League City area as I live here and am most familiar with the area. I'm mainly seeking fix and flips with possibly a few wholesale deals if I can't find the funding myself but if anyone is interested in partnering up in some deals I can always use the advise if someone with more experience and can definitely watch for deals that appeal to others that I may not be able to use myself.

Investing in Bitcoin is risky, plain and simple. If you want to invest you first need to educate yourself extensively. You will need to follow and understand the trends and the facts surrounding crypto currencies. Bitcoin has been used to buy real estate in Texas last month so do know that it's acceptance is becoming increasingly widespread. Part of the volatility is that people buy in without really understanding Bitcoin and it is still not as widely accepted as any of the major and stable currencies. Knowledge is the only way to invest profitably in any market.

Hey folks, I'm pretty new on this site and just saw your event!  I wish I had seen it a day earlier but I'd really like to join you for another event.

I'm on the south east side of town and I go to as many investor events as possible from Galveston to Houston and Baytown.  Hope to see you all soon!
