@Jamie Oliver

I am just getting into the REI world as well in Boston and have had some luck going to local meet ups and networking as well as taking other investors for coffee etc. A few have been open to some mentoring if I am helping find them deals and then shadowing them throughout the process.

I am hoping to be able to transition that model into then partnering on deals and eventually developing my own network to take on deals myself.

But definitely continue going to networking events when they happen, figuring out who you need to be a part of your network, and building it out from there.

Good luck

Can any Boston/Eastern MA investors recommend a reliable attorney to reach out to when I find deals?  Specifically getting into multi family buy and holds as well as shorter term single family rehabs/wholetail

Hopefully this is the right forum to post this.  Thanks ahead of time for your help.

Hi BP Community,

I am a new Boston area investor currently residing in Jamaica Plain and spending a great deal of time on the South Shore.

I have a marketing background and also freelance as a RE and interior design photographer (I can plug my details in the marketplace)

I am beginning to leverage my marketing background in the real estate world and I plan on locking down a couple deals in my first year. I had coffee with a great fix/flipper yesterday and looking forward to meeting many other great people in the real estate world.

My first post was deleted for not following the rules so hopefully 'looking forward to meeting people' doesn't break the BP laws of introducing myself.

Hope to see New England REIA Members tonight at Nick Aalerud's deal flow talk/event.

Thanks for taking the time!

-Mike
