Hey everyone! My name is Michael Pilcher and I am in the Chattanooga, TN market area. I am a real estate appraiser here but I am wanting to branch out into the world of real estate investing! Obviously, there is a lot to learn with all of this but I am eager to put in the work. I recently got married and my wife and I have agreed that real estate investing is a path we would like to go on. However, we are struggling with HOW to get started. I have looked at some deals in the area and it is apparent that the larger the down payment the easier it is to find a better home. I am curious if anyone has any creative strategies or tips on how to save and put back for a larger down payment? We are already putting some money back from each paycheck but looking for creative ways to navigate the financing for our first rental property. Looking forward to connecting with you all!
