One of my city's major industry is Health Care, what are some ways to find traveling nurses needs/connections for housing? 

@Linda S. I agree, we have seem an unsustainable appreciation of 7% for three months, however, I still think investing based on cash flow is the strategic way to go. 

Here in Lubbock TX, we've continued to see an increase in population. However, we are a small city (230K - 250K) and within a couple of minutes you can come across rural property. I've been seeing a mixture of people wanting to buy a house and have 1-2 acres, within city limits.

I do not think we are going to experience anything like 2008. The two things that are helping the real estate market is the number of foreclosures and the stringent lending requirements compared to 2008.

I think short-term rentals will take a back seat to flipping, this is because we appreciated 7% for three months in a row. However, with a strong medical industry, University, and growing population, short-term rentals will be a strategic method for investors.

I'm a local investor and Realtor for Lubbock TX, and wanted to know what long distance investors are looking for. Is there any keys information that is needed or contributes to interest in an area? Also, I'm looking into long distance investing and would like to master mind with different investors.
