@Onan Dumas thanks onan i figure the compounded interest wouldnt be very significant if i pay back the loan quickly. Plus the appreciation of the asset at an average of 3% it might be worth it to do it. Thanks for the point you brought up i appreciate it! No pun intended!

@Alexander Szikla thanks alex, i figure with the interest rate id be paying myself back with the loan and appreciation of the asset i dont think the difference would be significant in the long run as long as i pay back the loan in time . Thanks for your persective !

@Alexander Szikla hey alex,so the situation im in is , i am short 30k on the funds in my bank account and cant deposit the rest (due to 10k limit deposit regulation) and have to come up with the rest, my idea was to use was in my 401k and repay the loan i get. So youre saying its not good to invest it via a self directed loan or cant? It seems people have had success in the post not sure why it would be a negative since i cant use the cash on hand i currently have to make up the difference. Thanks for reaching out! Id appreciate your thoughts
