I am researching foreclosures and came across many properties that look to have sold at a foreclosure auction for $100.   Is this normal?  Are people really buying these properties at that price?

I am new to real estate and definitely do not know much yet about Foreclosure Proceedings.

So we just recently started driving for dollars and sending out letters.   I was wondering what other wholesalers are doing currently to find motivated sellers?

Is anyone buying motivated seller lists of any kind?

@Diana Tibor, We are looking at the 17th of August for the next one.  We are going to look a few options for the venue.  Looking for a place with good meeting space at a restaurant, bar or something similar.
