Hello all - Say I have a home that I live in and quitclaimed it to a trust or LLC that I created. If a tenant cannot be found to rent the home and I decided to rent from the LLC or trust at a lower rent/loss, could the loss pass through to my personal taxes given new tax laws?

Weird questions, but curious.

I have a home I've been in for 5 years. I want to rent it out to my LLC, stay in the home, pay the rent and write off the expenses. Can this be done?
