Greetings,

I live in Southern Utah, just outside of St George. I currently own a home which is not zoned for nightly rentals, although It appears I can rent it out as a "Legal Bed and Breakfast," per city ordinance. We're wanting to build a disconnected casita and rent it as long term; the idea being that the long term tenant would be the individual on site running the BnB for the main house. I'll have to confirm with the city if this is even allowed, but thought I'd ask if anyone has experience or knows of someone doing something similar. Did it work out? What issues were there? Thanks

Mike
