Post: is Renatus the Real Deal or a Scam?

In my personal opinion, it is certainly not worth 20K.  That is disgusting. There are VERY FEW in their community that are actually making money in real estate.  They all just sorta worship Bob Snyder. Really weird, kinda feels culty.

I actually was invited to one of their meetings, ya know, those first ones where they pitch you the course, prices etc.  I think it really depends on the group of people you link up with, some will be better suited for the marketing side, the others the real estate side.  I am not a supporter, but it annoys me when people call it a pyramid scheme.  EVERYTHING is a pyramid scheme.  The people at the top always make the most money. That's just how this economy works.

I am just reading all the books I can , the terms, my area and listening to podcasts. Once I build the confidence I will take it further. But 20k? That is pricey, let me tell you.

There are some people in the group I saw who have done ALOT of deals, but their biggest guy was doing real estate long before he joined renatus. I also saw many people in that group having to reach out to the local REI facebook group for contacts and information. If I am paying 20K, I better not have to reach out to ANYONE else. That' just me 2 cents.

Post: Where do I start when new to real estate?

Hi all!

Mike Garry here, recently discharged from the military and going to college in Seattle (North gate area).  I am eager to get into the real estate business and learn as much as I can.  I am studying real estate during my free time but would love to get some hands on experience especially meeting people in the industry! I am willing to work my *** off and work for free.  Learning is my number 1 priority.
Some of my goals: I would like to buy and hold with the focus on getting as much cash flow as possible

The Seattle market is a little expensive so I am willing to venture off into other areas!

I am not limiting myself to Washington, if there are good deals in other market areas I am willing to check those out!

I want to learn how to truly analyze a deal and consider all factors, especially when the market is as hot as it is right now.

Where do I start? Wholesaling? Become a real estate agent?

Thanks a lot!
