You are not wrong. VA backed loan must be purchased for primary residence. Deal looks solid though. Multi families are the way to go. Good luck!

I would continue your education while getting your license online. Proschools.com is a great online school to get your license at your own pace. Accounting, economics, marketing.. all good degrees to pursue to propel your real estate career. Good luck!

I am doing the same thing, it can be done without any real estate agents. All I did was contact my bank to get approved for the loan, and contacted a local title company for closing and deed search. Message me if you would like to know more. If not I wish you the best of luck, also look into the tax benefits of purchasing real estate from family

Is there a way to find out the price CURRENT tenants are paying in rent for a particular neighborhood? I am trying to figure out how much I will charge for rent once I purchase this home, but none of the surrounding homes are currently for rent. Any help would be appreciated!
