Post: Taking the Plunge Into Rentals!

I only recently became aware of the power of real estate investing. I paid off my house in 3 years because I hated the idea of being in debt and I have been very frugal. But after doing research and running the math, I am taking the plunge into Real Estate. I plan on purchasing Multi-Family homes in my local area for Cash Flow. To do this I'm going to be taking out a HELOC on my home to begin putting down payments on the properties.

My goal is to make $5,000 a month in passive income to replace our income and give us financial freedom. 

Although I am not very well versed in Real Estate yet, I plan on digesting everything I can to learn. Excited to join Bigger Pockets!
