I am recently under contract on my first buy and hold investment and all of my research got me to this point but i never learned about this current phase of the experience. I figured it would be one of those things you would only learn by doing. 

I am buying the property with private financing and I am inheriting the tenant. 

My agent has already reached out to a lawyer for me and is setting up an inspector as well. 

I would like to set up an llc and eventually transfer the property over to that as i know it will take some time to set up. 

I hope i have provided enough information for feedback. I am just wondering what my next step is this process should be. TIA!

Hello BP Community! I am going to try and follow Josh's stickie to T so here it goes

My name is Mike Conte and I currently have zero back ground in real estate aside from reading a few books and listening to podcasts. I'm from Hamilton, NJ and am interested in investing in buy and hold properties in the Mercer County area. My real estate goals are to one day own enough units to be able to live comfortably off of their cash flows. I found out about BP from a friend who is an active BRRRR investor and told me to check out the podcast which eventually led me to here. I have had my account for a little over a month now but am just getting around to posting as i am currently under contract for my first buy and hold property and am realizing i don't know as much as i thought. I will likely be making a follow up post later tonight in the appropriate forum about my current situation/issues i am facing. i look forward to joining the community and learning from everyone!
