And when I talk to people about real estate they think I'm crazy.

I like your spirit. Keep updating the forum so maybe if and when you manage to get whatever, some of us will have the guts to leave their job :) .

@Miguel Luna

Hey Miguel.

I find a lot of similar things with you. I am 23 years old, I'm working on my last year of Computer science bsc, and way more excited about learning economics etc. On the other hand I'm already working as a fully time software engineer so my savings are growing. I'm wondering how you want to buy 3 properties in a year, because I only fantasize about start buying properties and probably start at 2016 year, but maybe will manage to buy 1.

I wonder how did you do your math or see the way it is happening.

But if this is hypothetical, I would also assume by "over" you mean, before I got into REI. So I would get vacant lists of my county and mail them postcards. I would set up a call center to take the calls and start wholesaling these deals. I started in 09 after the collapse. This strategy would still work.

With the capital raised I'd get started into apartments.

 thanks for the response,

Do you mean rentals? or flip? I'm not sure at this point how much time each strategy consumes as I have a full time job.

Maybe quitting the job at some point should the the solution but it didn't come to that yet because I've only started saving and having a nice and steady income which should help me buying, on the other hand I will gain REI experience very slow.

Let's say you have something like 25k, let's say you already know a little bit about rei, where would you start? What would be your strategy ?

(I would be very careful about putting a hard money loan in front of your life savings! The HML WILL get paid will you?)

Actually I'm only 23 years old so thats not "life savings"... I just started working as a software engineer 10 month ago ...

What strategy would you recommend then? @Richard Dunlop

that's what i meant, is 120K should be enough for a decent deal, and what kind of a deal would you recommend for starting?

If the answer is going to be rentals, how much money should i put aside for renovating it? How much should be the difference between the rent income and mortgage payment?

Hello everybody, I'm Mike and I am a software engineer from Israel.

I've decided to start looking for my first deal at March and till then I save some money.

What kind of deals could be relevant for 30K$?

Are there any or I should keep on saving money for now ?

I'm trying to figure out if I should consider buying something outside of Israel, or the risk ain't worth it for that amount of money.

Hi everybody, Im a newbie and never had anything to do with real estale.

I'm 23 and a software engineer and I've decided I need to do something with my income.

I save around 80% after taxes so my savings are growing up quite impressive.

I live in Israel so my first thought was to buy an apartment in Beer Sheva.

I have read the untimate begginers guide... and yet I'm not confident not sure what to do first.

The city is growing fast (I know a guy who knows a guy, who bougth a department for 75K and now it worth around 110K). The issue with these cheap departments is that they are located in very bad neighborhoods.

The other issue is that right now i can't afford more expensive apartment..

Any thoughts?

And... yeah so much to learn.

Good luck to you too :)

Hi all, I'm Mike, 23 years old from Israel and currently I'm a software engineer.

I am new to real state and start learning hmm... everything there is I guess.

This is the beginning of a new and unknown journey for me and I hope I'll get it right as soon as possible.

Have a good weekend :).
