Your statements are not correct. You are allowed to use your home equity for downpayments. There is no need to pull it out and waste 2 months of interest parking it in an account.

The DuPage County Real Estate Investors group was started to provide a platform for DuPage County (and surrounding areas) real estate investors to share knowledge, resources, and deals.

The members of this group are involved in primarily single family, multifamily and commercial investments, and represent all levels of experience. The focus of the group is professional networking.

Our next meetup for 3/29 at Emmett's Brewery, 5200 Main Street, Downers Grove, IL 60515 from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm. There is a parking lot across the street and in the back we are allowed to use.

These events are 100% networking. If you have a deal where you need a partner you will have the opportunity to present it to the group during introductions.

@Mushfiq S. They look at your schedule e on your taxes to see your profit and loss. They also add back into your cashflow interest and depreciation expense. They don't think that way as far as if a tenant doesn't pay. That's why most banks average the last 2 years of rental income. The more income you report the more it helps not hurt you.

@Mushfiq S. If you show on your tax returns that you cashflow every property you should have no problems. It's the investors who show losses who have a tough time. I deal with this daily at my bank.
