Hi Matt - thanks very much for the tips. I am new to the process, but assume that I would want to be where millennials and first-time buyers are interested in settling. I suppose the margin killer in the established hot areas is the buying price ... and the potential margin killer in other areas is the selling price. Loads to consider and more to research... Does anyone flip on the East side of Buffalo? It would be great to see investment in the East to start a rebirth on that side of town.

Hi Fred - thanks for reaching out. I won’t need financing for the flip. I am more interested in finding a local real estate agent, assessor and contractor familiar with Buffalo flips.

Hi BP Community - we recently moved to Buffalo and fell in love with the old architecture here. My wife and I are considering doing some flipping (well - starting with 1). I’ve been researching the topic and I’m ready to start meeting some real people to build a team.   Also - does anyone have any opinions on the “hot” neighborhoods where an investment makes good sense? Thanks in advance for all the help.

Mike
