@Ehsan Rishat Thanks for the info! What company do you typically use for direct mailing?

Hi all! I’m looking to get some advice on marketing and advertising. I just closed my first deal as a buyer agent, so I’d like to use some of that towards advertising. I already have plans for some nice business cards, as well as yard signs. I’m really interested in hearing what your take is on direct mailings as well as paid social media advertising. Has anyone had a lot of success with either of these? What are some other marketing tools I can invest in?

I’m a new agent, with just a few people in my sphere of influence that I have actual phone numbers or emails for so Facebook is my main source of contact. I was wondering if it was legal (or just looked tacky) to make a post on my personal page, tagging my business page and asking my Facebook friends for referrals for a prize, for example: share my business page or tag someone you know who may be looking for real estate and the person who sends me someone that creates an actual deal gets a $10 Starbucks gift card or something along those lines. I’ve never seen or heard of any agents I know doing that, so I didn’t know if it was allowed or if maybe it just looks like I’m begging for business?

Hey, so I’m a brand new agent, recently hung my license with Keller Williams. I’m just curious if anyone has some useful tips for getting established as an agent, especially someone who isn’t necessarily efficient in small talk, ie approaching strangers, talking about my business. Also, any tips for a new agent in general would be great. Thanks!
