@Ben Tilbury I'm currently house hacking in San Miguel. I got an FHA loan for 5% down and right now I'm living in it with cousins who are paying 90% of my mortgage. I'll do this as long as they are here because my part of rent is cheaper than anything else in slo county but as soon as they all leave I'll rent it out to a family and have them pay the whole mortgage. I plan on holding onto the house but I am open to selling in 5-10 years if it would help me invest out of state.
