Mark H. Ohhh I guess you told me. ;) I have a lot of hobbies including horseback riding, triathlons and charity work along with running my own business. I joined this forum because I like the idea of free advice and insight from professionals, not snarky comments. I hope you feel better. You need a hug? :)
P.S. you should re-read my post, her "smoking outside" wasn't what I was questioning.

Thanks everyone! As a business professional my first response was "unprofessional" but real estate is not my profession so I have no experience with what is normal behavior.
Steve L. I had no intention of making a complaint or reject an offer from a buyer, however, if and when this agent shows this property or any other property of mine, I will them politely ask that she accompany her buyer at all times and to please keep cigarettes remnants off my property. :) Steve, I hope that I don't have 'bigger problems to worry about'. :)
Corey, yes this is not my first 'dirtbag' ;)

It was the buyers agent that did this, my listing agent was not present.

We had a showing at our home today....the agent stepped outside to take a cigarrette break, leaving the buyer inside alone for 10 minutes, then putting the cigarette out onto our exterior concrete patio.
Is it appropriate for the realtor to leave the buyer in a home unattended?
Thank you! :)

So true Jeff B. So at about 4pm yesterday I finally received the paperwork. Sign and returned it promptly. Nowww, I'm waiting on the address to mail my depoist to....?? She said she was waiting on the title company to forward her a mailing address....
Is this normal? When I purchased my first house I don't remember things taking this long, I remember signing a contract, offer, counter, accepted, another contract, check, done. Then onto the financing package. It was easier, well in terms of agent, lender.
Thoughts? Thank everyone! :)

Hi Jon,
We made an offer, signed contract. It was accepted, Fannie Mae HomePath. There is additional papers, so I am told by my agent that I need to sign "similar to what has already be filled out". So here I am waiting to see the "additional papers from Fannie Mae".
Yes you are right about the inspection period be only 10 days, and I'm on that, schedule inspection already.
I'm with you what is the hold up? Drive the paperwork over...old school! ;)

Offer accepted! {insert happy dance}
My agent received the paperwork and has yet to forward it to me. Offer accepted 9/26 at 10am EST. Should I be concerned?
I wanted to read the entire contract. She stated the hold up was she was having to update her adobe software...?
Sitting on G waiting on O
P.s. there is a back story as to why I'm a little leary, but without sharing all the details...
Thanks everyone! :)

Thank you everyone! Good news! They accepted!
Apparently the price reduction is a 'scheduled thing'.
