@Kiera Underwood

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I agree that different markets were effected in different ways.

What I’m trying to see is how the RE market did overall.

I was just reading Robert Kiyosaki’s book “Rich Dad’s Increase Your Financial IQ”.

In his book he writes that rent income from buy and holds were hardly effected by the 2008 market crash.

The point he was trying to make is that investing in long term rental properties is very safe and can withstand pretty much any market.

I am wondering if that’s true.....

Does anyone here on BP have any thoughts on that?

@Michael K Gallagher Unfortunately, I did not get any good resources. My investment plan has changed to US only. Good luck with your search!

P.S. my apologies for the late response.

Hi BiggerPocketers!

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with investing in rental properties in the United Kingdom and USA.

I currently live in New York and thinking of moving to the UK and would like to get some advice to help me make my decision.

Any advice would be appreciated. ✌️

This is my first BP post 🤘

I am currently saving up for my first house hack.

I was wondering if i should start buying small SFH and rent them out.

Or, rather save up 💰 for the next year (while paying rent) and get my first house hack.

I would appreciate any advice you can offer on this🙌
