The good thing is that he didn't marry my mother-in-law so he is not legally related. We can still make this work!

My in-laws own a second home as an investment. They are paying the mortgage from a traditional IRA and paying taxes on the money each year. If I purchase the home under my LLC for the amount owed would it be legal for them to transfer funds to a self-directed IRA and invest in the LLC, I pay off the loan and make improvements, rent out the property and use the rent payments as the return on their investment? This way they do the same thing tax deferred and the IRA grows.

I have 2 fabulous daughters and my goal is to prepare them for success financially.  Time freedom has become a serious goal for my life.  Taking orders from others and being forced to adhere to specific time constraints and vacation allowance has taken it's toll.  I am so ready to work for myself and experience highs and lows based on my own terms with unlimited potential.

Has anyone in the Kansas City area flipped a home near Westport or Hyde Park?  If so how did it go?
