Hey Folks. I am a newbie investor in the DC, MD and VA. Is it a best practice to open up a business as a LLC or whatever other entity before you start buying your 1st investment property to protect yourself financially?

Hey Folks! My name is Melinda. I am a newbie investor. I am currently seeking to network with the like minded and opportunities. At this time I am only interested in investing into Small MultiFamily units to begin my investment portfolio.

I have been a member of BP for about 2 years. I initially started when I was in the phase of teaching myself how to invest in stocks. I am well versed in that now and started my own stock investment portfolio.

I am currently working in the IT Industry on a government contract as a Queue Manager. I have over 10 years experience with Helpdesk/Desktop/Call Center support. I am eagered to explore the field of Real Estate as an investor for Financial Freedom and Independence.

Oh and I am located in the DC, MD and VA aka DMV!
