Thank you all for your responses. Yes, @Antoine Martel I am aware of the huge HOA fees and it is definitely on my radar. Thank you 😊

@Chris Lounsbury I’ve been looking in Charlotte but haven’t been very lucky. I’m not opposed to investing here as well but I’m more excited in vacation spots that can be rented out weekly or on Airbnb. The price is also closer to what I’m looking for.

Hi All - I am still relatively new to the BP world and trying to get started on my first investment property. I live in Charlotte but since the market is so hot here I have been looking at other cities to invest in. Currently, I am looking at buying a condo in Destin, Florida to rent out and I would love to connect with anyone familiar with the area. I saw a previous post about financing being a little different than normal for costal condos and I would appreciate any advice on the subject.

Thanks!

Hello All! I am a relatively new investor in the Charlotte area. I have spent years researching Real Estate Investing and am ready to start getting active. I have found a tenant occupied duplex in the Plaza/Midwood area that I am ready to pull the trigger on and am looking for lenders. Any references are welcome.

Thank you in advance!

Hello BP World! I am a new investor in the Charlotte Area. I have spent years researching Real Estate Investing and am ready to start getting active. My partner and I both work in Commercial Real Estate and we are ready to get more involved by flipping our first residential property. We have a perfect opportunity for a flip (right across the street from my house) in the highly desired Plaza Midwood area. We have met with a contractor to get an idea of pricing and are in the process of scheduling another walk through with a contractor to get firm pricing in the next day or two. The house is an ideal flip but we need a lender and because the market is so hot right now we need to find a lender quickly. I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for lenders in the area. Any referrals would be welcome.

Thanks in advance!
