Nicholas, welcome! I feel funny welcoming you because I, too, have been lurking around behind the scenes of BP for quite some time. I put an offer in yesterday for an REO flip project in Bremerton. I'm out of state, so he has been the only reason i have been able to invest in Bremerton. The other thing I wanted to connect with you about is your program you are going to present at your old high school. I have wanted to do a 30 minute presentation for my coworkers about personal finance, but I just haven't made the time to sit down and try to put everything in my head into a logically-formatted presentation. In efforts not to re-invent the wheel, I was wondering if you would share you "wheel," or at least share a outline of your "wheel?" (Wheel=presentation)
On that note, the agent I speak of, who is a Veteran, gives presentations to groups of people on how and when to use their VA benefits for real estate investing. I think the two of you could team up to offer free (or paid) workshops on personal finance/house buying/investing. Either way, he's a great resource and you both seem to like to give back.
