Today my mom just showed me a house that hasn’t been touched for over a decade. She said she was going to try to get it but the owners passed away. We went to go look at it today and she said it looks just how it did the first time she seen it. My first question was who would I contact that had power to sell the house. The house was still being built but the only thing missing is a pathway for cars. She didn’t know exactly who the owners were so who would I talk to about finding who may be the owners in the first place. I was going to look more into it and see if it’s even worth pursuing. I would also have to look more into the area since I’m not too experienced.

My original plan involved saving up 20 to 30k as I continue to learn and try to see if I can intern or something in that manner with a real estate agent or investor. I am 18 and I have hydrocephalus. I just recently had a conversation with my mom and she brought up good points. She obviously doesn’t want me to work since that could put extra strain on my head( I have headaches most of the week). I come to realization getting a job isn’t going to be that realistic for me. Ultimately I know I need to do what fits me best. My reason for making this post is to see advice from anybody else with a demanding health condition. I didn’t know why the first thing the doctors would check when I feel sick or have a fever was because it could be a malfunction. I say that to say it is also a big expense as any small thing causes doctors to check. If you do have an illness how have you implemented it into your plan. I’m thinking of solely using wholesale or the rent to buy I think it’s called but I just wanted advice.

@Mindy Jensen

I like puzzles that makes you think like chess, soduko, mystery video games. I think this ties into real estate for me because investing is kind of a puzzle.

I also enjoy cooking for myself and others it’s really relaxing.

I love to exercise but mostly weightlifting it’s a good way to start or end your day.

Basketball is my most favorite sport. I haven’t got to play in months but I can wait.

I’m coming to understand taking action is crucial to not get stuck just learning. I’m 18 and only have about 100$. I was at a point where I’ve seen I should get a real estate license. As I gone though learning more I see I want to be an investor. I’m leaning more towards just learning because I’m not sure what type of action to take. Should I spend time looking at marketplaces,speaking to people etc even though I don’t really know much. I’m reading and watching videos I’m just not sure what small steps of action I should take if any yet. I’m looking into strategies and how I want to build capital. To wrap this up I would like advice for what action I should take right now while I learn more.
