Hi,

I was told before if I purchase a home for a investment i can't apply for a mortgage loan. What's the boards thoughts on where to get a 30 year loan @4% for a investment home?

thanks for replies. I should have mentioned this is not a investor home and it's being financed by buyer putting down 20% of sale price.

A home being sold for 330K was only appraised for 309K by the bank. Should the buyer ask the seller to appraised value by the bank? If buyer walks away does he lose his earnest money?

I like how Dawn B. from NC put it...nothing happens over night and not all is lost in change. Agents will be needed as the SMEs will be valued for their knowledge and the excess fat will end up working for https://www.redfin.com/

when dot com world took of in 90s i bet you lots of businesses never thought they'd have to change. 20 years later its mandatory.

you never would have thought amazon would sell grocery

You'll have to add value to your clients to have the job, else public can say hey i could have done that.

Reality is markets are good now so folks are going to say realtors are needed. change takes time. let's talk in another 10 years.

Hi,

My name is Ashish Mehta from Houston, TEXAS area (southwest side). I joined the site to see what kind of things i can learn or ask questions related to real estate. I am going to be soon taking the Realtor exam.

About me - I am a IT profession (Business Analyst) and have been doing IT related stuff since 1998. I have a undergrad and MBA from UofH. I have 2 rental properties I picked up last December.

Biggest concern i have right now is when is this market going to roll over...3 years ago i felt we were going to get another crash. Missed out on some good opportunities back then.
