I should also say that I am more interested in turnkey properties - i.e., I'd like to avoid extensive rehab. I have a busy work schedule with extensive travel, which provides plenty of capital for my investments but also means certain limitations. As far as management is concerned, I could probably self-manage if we are talking 1-2 properties, may want a management team for out-of-town or beyond those initial investments

Hi everyone,

I am overwhelmed by the warm welcome - it feels great! Thanks everyone :-)

I will respond individually to those who have reached out with specific advice/questions. In short, I am likely interested in multi-unit properties, since I am more concerned about cash generation than appreciation.

Hi everyone,

I am a new real estate investor in the Philadelphia area. I am a complete beginner, though I am clear on my goal - invest $200-$250K in cash (up tp $1M with leverage) in cash-producing rental properties in the area.

If anybody has good resources to get started, or tips, please let me know

Cheers,

MEH
