Hello Everyone,

We are looking to invest in a property in the Smoky Mountains in Sevierville, TN. We were looking to finance this through a DSCR loan and just found out that most DSCR lenders create a bit of problem to approve DSCR loans to log cabins. So, here I am trying to figure out if this is true or not and what have you all done, if you own an STR property which is like a log cabin. Will really appreciate all information on this as we are ready to buy this property but using the DSCR method. This is what I could find out from its listing:

Type & style
  • Home type: SingleFamily
  • Architectural style: Cabin,Log,Chalet,Traditional
  • Property subtype: Residential, Cabin, Single Family Residence
Materials
  • Stucco, Log, Block, Frame, Brick

    Hello all,

We are looking to use the DSCR loans for buying our investment property. We were told about the prepayment penalty...now I do have a general understanding of what the prepayment penalty is...are there any lenders that offer these types of loans without the penalty? What kind of terms would I be looking at, let's say for a $350K property? We are looking in Texas.

Would appreciate any and all help in helping me get a clearer picture on this...thank you!

    Hi Everyone,

I wanted to reach out and ask if anyone has used Anderson Legal, Business and Tax Advisors? While researching how to set up Real Estate LLC's, I came across Clint Coons YouTube videos. I tried searching on the forums if anyone has used them but most just said that they had a strategic call with them and then nobody updated about their experiences. I know from a bit of research that they are expensive and charge top $$$ to get a proper set up done for LLC's that help with proper Tax submissions.

If anyone here has had experience with them, I would really appreciate understanding how they have helped you and if you are happy with the way they work.

    Thanks Everyone!

@Tatum Littleton @Devin Cordell our main goal is start with a property using the BRRRR method and then renting it out under LTR. That is our goal right now.

    Hello Everyone,

I am fairly new to real estate and my husband and I have a baby portfolio so far that we have build. A property in Canada and Kenya and are now looking to grow in the US. After spending hours in research and watching countless hours of YouTube videos, we are kind of - sort of ready to jump into the BRRRR method but are still a little hesitant. Our main issues are that we live far from the areas we are looking into to invest in...so here are a few questions I have:

    1) We are looking primarily in Austin, TX, Pittsburg, PA, Waco, TX and in Birmingham, AL - and I would appreciate any insights into what you think of these areas?

    2) How do I start building my team in these areas? In Canada, we have a real estate agent who takes care of everything that comes up with our property...how do you all create your teams?

Would appreciate any and all help, Thank You!!
