Hey Megan not to sure about the akron market but if you are focused on cash flow I would consider cleveland which isn't too far from akron.

Cleveland is what I focus in, it's great market to focus on for cash flow and specific pockets have gone upwards of 2-4x in the last 5-10 years.

Thank you Nadeem! I appreciate your input on the area. I will look more into the Cleveland area. I've seen some properties, but open to more.

Hi Nicholas, thank you for responding.

I have not been to this neighborhood in person. I do have two different people who are local that have given me their opinion of the area. However I'm receiving mixed reviews on it, which is why I'm hoping to get more insight on BP. I've had the property walked and will have an inspection done and have a proper budget set aside for the inevitable things that will come up.

Hey all! Im located in CA and looking at investment properties in Akron, OH. I was hoping to get some help and insight on different neighborhoods in Akron. I was presented an off market property in the Sherbondy Hill neighborhood, along 261 and the Interbelt. It has a good cash flow potential, but Ive heard mixed reviews on the area.

Hey BP family,

I'm  looking for lenders in OH, Im currently looking at multi-family units in Cleveland and Toledo areas. Thank you!

Hi Megan, you’re most likely want to connect with an experienced investment focus broker who can help you obtain a wide range of DSCR products. DSCR loans are an investor, best friend when it comes to obtaining easy financing. The three pillars, I always refer to our LTV, credit score, and DSCR score. For a purchase - you’ll want at least 20% down, a DSCR of 1.00 or better, and the better the credit the better the terms. Happy to connect and help you answer any specific questions!

Hi Devin, thank you for thorough response. I have done some research into DSCR loans. I am keeping this as an option, but also heard from a colleague of mine here in CA. Some loans for investment properties (2 units or more) can require as little as 5% down. Have you heard of this outside of CA

Hi Leira,

I recommend Colibri, I used them for my courses here in California. I really enjoyed how they had plenty of study material/tests to go along with the courses they offered.
