Thanks for the welcome, guys! I'll definitely bookmark this site as a source of information to look through during my real estate investing journey! What are y'all's thoughts on the current real estate market in Acadiana? Seems like I'm seeing more and more for sale signs pop up around my area.

First time poster here. I've read great things about the site and so far, its been really helpful in providing good information regarding real estate investing. I have no experience yet, but I'm itching to get into this market! Unfortunately, the Lafayette area has seen a significant slow down in the energy industry and people are fighting to keep jobs. I'm hoping that, eventually, I will not have to rely on this industry to make a living. Anyhow, thanks to all for the great information!
