HI Jake, before you invest in this or any other condo, please do full due diligince on Condos and particularly HOA, COA issues. There's a lot that can put you as an investor under water. Carefully review who owns how many units, and what the financial position and reserve balance is at the property as well as any deferred maintenance required. You don't want to get in and find out that the HOA fees suddenly increase a couple hundred dollars a month or that you get special assessed. Not to scare you but just trying to protect. Best of luck with whatever you do!

This is the exact problem I ran bint and decided to focus outside of NY.  Of course this left me with concerns being distant from the property which led me to purchase larger multifamily properties to diversify my vacancy risks.  Currently have properties in KY, FL, GA, OH.

Hi Guys.  If you are interested in Multifamily investing, rhe meetings in westbury are definately worth it.  Roy, what type of RE investing are you interested in?  There are several meetings each month at different locations and different topics.

Hi Guys,

I was a shiny object guy looking at all sorts of stuff. LI Is too expensive for me so I was looking at out of state buy and hold SFRs.  However, I like the diversity of 2-3 unit multifamily properties so was looking into them.  At the moment, I haven't done anything, but am learning as much as I can and have set my mind and goal to be going with slightly larger multifamily properties. My goal is to have one within the year.  Best of luck to you.
