Thanks everyone!  @Joe Mulcahy great tip! I am looking for local REI group meetings to attend and DIG is right in my area. I see there is a basic class for beginners on 2/7/15 which I plan to attend. Do you have any advice on how to get the most out of these meetings and how to get plugged into the local real estate investor network in general?

I'm taking the plunge and joining the BP community! I hail from the Philadelphia, PA area and have been browsing the articles and forum posts for a few weeks and listening to the podcast. What a wealth of information! Thank you to all who contribute. I am currently a property accountant for a large commercial REIT and I'm hoping some of that knowledge and experience will help me transition into my own investor journey. See you around!
