@Paul Timmins

Thanks for the reply! I just ordered the book I think it will be a great read.

I have attended some meetings , the closest one i could find is 45 minutes away. I have met lots of great people and got great advice. I could not locate anything closer to home. Thanks!

I was brainstorming to figure out a way to work with experienced investors to gain knowledge from them. My day job is a carpenter (and at times work is slow) I would offer to work for someone at a reduced wage if they shared tips and advice with me. I would do this as a full time deal. I look at it if I'm around the people doing what I want to accomlish I can get there faster.

Is this an idea that might work? What are your thoughts? If you are an experienced investor and a newbie made that offer what would you do?

Thanks for reading!

@Mike Webb I'm thinking of looking in the better parts of Johnstown and possibly the Somerset area. Were you investing when you lived in Somerset?

Hi , I have been reading and gaining info with these forms for a couple months now. I'm ready to take the next step and start my investing . I like to build and design houses, my plan is to rehab distressed properties to flip, with buy and holds later down the road.

I'm looking forward to meeting lots of great people on this site and gaining more knowledge about investing.
