@Sudhanshu Singha

What is the time frame for a typical adjustable rate mortgage versus a fixed rate? I know a 5/1 ARM is stable for 5 years, but is that over a 30 year period like a typical fixed? Or Is it just something that varies by state and loan company?

@Ben Layman

I’m currently looking into a similar investment and I’ve run into the exact problem with not being able to get a loan because of my debt to income ratio. How did you go about getting financing?

I am an investor interested in rental properties, specifically in the Richmond VA area. I am looking to create a small community to try and learn more about the area and about other's successes in that area.
