Hello @Kurt K,

Look at it this way, if you paid your bank your monthly mortgage that was due, can you go back to them and ask for grocery money?

You have to run your investment the same way.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good property management company located in NYC.

Prefer one that has experience in the Brooklyn market.

All the best,

Michael

Yes, it was a NYC listing.  Is that common there?

I saw this in a listing and did not understand what it meant.

Does anyone know?

@Yeshudas  Nair, Brooklyn especially will be hard for you to invest in with the amount you are looking at.  Bronx, maybe, but will be in D class war zone at best.  Try Queens, maybe Flushing near Queens College,  Students come and go but thier parents always pay.

@David Jenkins @Stephen Anderson I totally agree that the Multifamily Investing Academy with Charles Dobens is one of the best Real estate courses out there.  His training material is very much worth it and he is the only Real Estate teacher that I know of that gives his students his direct phone line to call and ask him questions as needed.

Tight market right now in Brooklyn because most are Brownstones conversions.  Queens might have some potential such as Flushing or Corona but would need to do some research.

@Jason Noah Choi I have some experience in the Brooklyn market and it is tighter that it has ever been.

You can still find a few bargains in the Crown Heights section especially because not of the original owners are moving on and the families do not want to be landlords.

Would love to discuss with you sometime because we have similar interests.

All the best,

Michael
